Problem:

Is your iPhone 3GS not charging when connected to your PC, Mac or Mains Charger?

Or Battery not retaining charge when full?

Solution:

Change this IC and the two fuses (in our other listing)  for non charging iphone logicboard.

Details:

-This may happen if you have let the USB power protection circuit short out while doing other repairs on the logicboard.

-If your iPhone 3GS has taken water damage you may find that the charging stops working.

Changing the Battery and Dock Connector didnt help, because this is a logicboard problem.

-This issue is caused when 2 USB power controller IC and 2 fuses on the logic board is burnt out.  It acts like a pfuse in case of power surge it provites protection power control for the CPU, Power IC, memory and bettery.

-We now sell these two USB protection which is the IC to change if the two fuses doesnt fix your not charging problem.

-This is the exact same original part Apple use.
